But you wouldn't know it, based on the last crowd. Please modify your Trip and try again. It seems the crowd gets younger each year or I'm getting older, but it's like a pilgrimage and we must stop for 3,4 maybe more drinks here each visit. There are no fixed opening or closing hours, so you can dance the night away until the sun comes up over Berlin, which happens sooner than you think. You'll be packed like sardines. While there is no secret recipe to get in everywhere, there are some things you can do to increase your chances. My friends and I were looking forward to coming here. It's tiny, it's fluffy, it's cute, it's rude, it's everything at the same time. If you are craving some Italian fare, DaGiorgio's closed Mondays serves vegetarian-friendly pizza, and Pizza Peppino is open even later, past midnight every day. The music continues at night, and you can also visit several clubs in , the surrounding warehouse area.

Maybe it's better in the summer when everybody doesn't have big, heavy coats, but we left after a couple of drinks before claustrophobia set in too hard. I went on a weekday but that didn't stop the party. It was on the list of places to visit but unfortunately the bartender was just flat out rude. Plus, the extreme smokiness of the space was making my eyes hurt. Would love to give it a 5, but it's just so crowded there at times that you might not even physically be able to get in.

However, black is always a good idea and some places—like —are infamously capricious. It is waaaaaaaayyyy over decorated. I've been back several times since and, first, am amazed by how gentrified Kreuzberg has become. I have to echo the previous reviewer's comment, thinking that being inside this place makes one feel like in the womb of a muppet. From electro and pop to indie, hip-hop, and rock, you can club in Berlin every night of the week. However, beer drinkers must be 16 and act responsibly. I'd rather visit this place in dimly-lit lighting settings.

German and international artists light up nearly 100 city streets, landmarks, historical places, squares, popular neighborhoods, and such using light installations, 3D mapping, and video. Do they even know where they are???? It seems the crowd gets younger each year or I'm getting older, but it's like a pilgrimage and we must stop for 3,4 maybe more drinks here each visit. If you are looking for one of the city's underground clubs and bars in Berlin that spring up one weekend and disappear forever the next, you can usually find these clubs in backyards, old warehouses, and even basements of residential buildings. The warmer months also signal the opening of outdoor. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A large city, many of Berlin's neighborhoods were in fact once independent towns. Yeah, you read that right. The pink furry walls are incredible, but I would be scarred to see the state of them and their cleanliness, or lack thereof in daylight. This is the craziest bar on the planet. Patience is key, as waiting in line for hours at the top clubs at peak times is expected. Is this because I am not or do not speak German? It's located within a private residential Hof courtyard and offers seasonal and other beers along with organic pretzels and a few other food items. While the ocean may be far, some bars have stepped up to create a atmosphere sand and all , which is especially nice in the summer when the weather is better.

Rose Garden, Berlin

Because it is a gay bar. Fog machines and disco balls. Definitely worth seeing but it would not be a regular place for me. I wish I could say nice things, because I really wanted to like this place, but i guess it just wasn't meant to be. This is one quirky bar that I think is great just for the quirkiness of it. Visitors sit on benches shaded by Chestnut trees, with strings of lovely lightbulbs that come on at night. A bar where I can be my fabulous queer self.
